Fucking bargain.
They'll get you anywhere in the UK for about £15.

Went to the chippy last night, three fifty for a bag of chips. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention, but that’s a bit steep for a few SPUDS.

I bought fish and chips for 5 of us a few weeks ago (first time for ages) as a cheap takeaway (prob 3 medium cod and chips) came to over £40

Pubs and booze in general. Up until quite recently anyway. Similar western European countries have always charged the equivalent of an extra 20-40% on top of the price of a pint, minimum.
Take-aways in London seem cheaper than almost anywhere else in the country and most of northern/western Europe. There are kebab shops in Newham where you can still get a portion that fills you up for £3. Yeah its not healthy but you're not after healthy if you're in there in the first place, ARE YOU?
Parking. Parking is fucking easy in the UK compared to most other countries. London is an exception.

The standard of TOILETS is generally good in the UK too. Not necessarily public loos but in pubs/restaurants etc.
Even in much more "clean" modern countries like Sweden and the Netherlands, you can be in a half decent bar/restaurant and their toilet is literally a single cubicle with no bog-roll and in a shite state. Also surprising how often you've got to pay to use them as well. In the UK there's usually much more capacity.
